Description

"Shelter in Place - Protection" is one in a series of paintings that depict various aspects of what the world is dealing with during the COVID-19 pandemic. It is an encaustic painting that uses melted wax, pigments and a variety of techniques to express my inspiration. This process uses many layers of wax. The first layers in this series begin with making rubber gloved hand prints using India Ink.
